Overview:
The EonStor GSe (GSe) is a shared storage solution especially designed for SMBs to support high definition video collaboration. For such applications, Infortrend integrates DaVinci Resolve database on the GSe, and provides the EonView, an automated agent software that supports Windows and macOS workstations, enabling video editors to easily deploy storage and network settings without the assistance of IT personnel. This allows multiple users to collaborate on videos and regularly back up database, providing an easy-to-use video workflow management mechanism.
GSe's hardware design features various form factors and flexible host boards to choose from, and stable, reliable modular design with high expandability. GSe supports SAS, SATA, and SSD drives, integrating SAN and NAS service as well as EonCloud Gateway features to deploy a powerful hybrid cloud environment. In addition to the built-in four 10GbE/1GbE channels, GSe also provides flexible 25GbE/10GbE Ethernet interface and multiple network protocols such as CIFS/SMB and NFS, which can be easily integrated with your existing work environment. The EonStor GSe 1000 is entry level enterprise solutions especially designed for SMBs and ROBOs (remote office/branch office). It provides complete data storage, file sharing, and cloud integration, allowing IT personnel to efficiently manage all kinds of light SAN and NAS workloads, all at an affordable price. The EonStor GSe 1000 comes with exceptional expandability of more than 10PB storage capacity and one set of modular host board slots, which can easily meet the needs of future data growth and architecture transformation. As such, the GSe 1000 is the ideal choice for the budget-conscious applications.
Cost-effective Shared Storage Solution
The EonStor GSe 3000 Gen2 and 2000/2000T are shared storage solutions especially designed for SMBs or media workstations to collaborate on 4K and above ultra-high definition media footages. GSe 3000 Gen2 and 2000T support for all flash or hybrid configurations to provide the performance required for near-line storage and high definition media editing applications. Up to two sets of modular host boards are also offered to fulfill the requirements of numerous applications or infrastructure transformation to allow more deployment flexibility. The systems come with an expandability of more than 10PB, meeting the needs of future data growth. As such, GSe 3000 Gen2 and 2000T are your cost-effective shard storage solutions. EonOne—an Easy-to-use Interface for Storage Management
With the constant evolution of storage platforms, the EonStor GSe adopts the all new EonOne management software to assist customers in improving storage and service efficiency for increased productivity. Infortrend offers two kinds of user privilege for different management purposes. One user privilege is for M&E User Administrator, who is in charge of user’s account and storage quota management, and the other user privilege is for System Administrator who can do advanced storage settings and maintenance.
EonView

Hybrid Storage Arrays
From data growth, management of numerous hardware devices, to annual budget cuts, IT personnel need to face ever-changing challenges every day. The EonStor GSe can be set up as a hybrid flash storage according to their needs, and combined with either SSD Cache or Automated Storage Tiering, it can utilize the high performance of SSDs and the large capacity of HDDs, while automatically moving frequently accessed data to SSDs to achieve simplified management and proper use of resources.
Complete Cloud Integration Solution
Integration of enterprise data and cloud is the trend of the future, and the EonStor GSe can assist customers to move file or block level data to public or private clouds according to their needs. Besides low cost access to infrequently used data, it can also backup data to the cloud to establish a remote backup architecture, creating a data center with high availability.
Rich Host Interface in GSe Family
As there is a wide range of enterprise applications, the required communication interface for each application may differ. Infortrend provides rich communication interfaces in SAN environments, including 8Gb/s FC, 16Gb/s FC, 32Gb/s FC, 1Gb/s iSCSI, 10Gb/s iSCSI, 40Gb/s iSCSI and 12Gb/s SAS to allow complete compatibility with all applications. Furthermore, 1GbE, 10GbE, 25GbE and 40GbE ports are also offered in network environments to provide fast and reliable data sharing and data transfer quality.
